This post shows simple ways to  to create, change, reset Windows 7 password. And give simple steps for useing Windows 7 password recovery Tool and Ophcrack Windows 7 live cd  to reset or recover Windows 7 password.

Create, Remove, Change, Reset Windows 7 pasword with system built-in programs

1. Create windows 7 password.

Create password for Windows 7 user to stop others from accessing your Windows.
Method 1: Use net user command: net user user_name password. use_name is the user name, password is the password for user. For  example creating a pssword administrator: net user administrator 123. Notic: You must run Command prompt as administrator.

Method 2: Create a password for user with GUI.
2.1 Log on as Administrator or log on an account with Administrator privilege.
2.2 Start->Control panel->User Account and Family Safety->User Accounts->Manage anothor account->Click a user to select it->Change the password,  input the password in the password box, and the click Create Password button .

2. Remove Windows 7 password.

Method 1: Use net user command: net user user_name “”.  user_name indicates the user name, “” indicates the blank password.
Method 2: Start->Control panel->User Account and Family Safety->User Accounts->Manage anothor account->Click a user to select it->Remove the password, and then click Remove Password button  to remove the password.

3. Change windows 7 password.

Method 1: Use net user command: net user user_name new_password. user_name indicates the user name, new_password indicates the new password.
Method 2: Start->Control panel->User Account and Family Safety->User Accounts->Manage anothor account->Click a user to select it->Change the password, input the password in the password box, and then click the Create Password button. This operation is the same as the operation of  Creating  password with GUI.

4. Reset windows 7 password.

If you can log on a account With Administrator privilege,  the operations of Reset Windows 7 password is the same as Change Windows 7 password.
Unfortunately ,  If you lost the password administrator and you cannot log on Windows with  administrator privilege, both methods of Remove Windows 7 password and Change Windows 7 password will not work at all. In such a case,  many person would format the drive and reinstall Windows. So much thing has to be done. 5.1.3 Boot computer from Windows 7 password recovery disk.
5.1.4 Reset Windows 7 password with Windows 7 password recovery  tool.

5.2 Recover Windows 7 password With Ophcrack Windows 7 live cd.

5.2.1 Download Ophcrack Windows 7 live cd from http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/ .
5.2.2 Create Ophcrack Windows 7 live cd.
5.3.3 Boot computer from Ophcrack Windows 7 live cd.  After Ophcrack startup, Ophcrack  find the user password for you automatically.
